Description

Tsugami BW209Z : 9 + 2 AXES FOR MAXIMUM VERSATILITY

The Tsugami BW209Z lathe, thanks to its kinematics with 9 linear axes and 2 C axes (11 CNC axes) offers the most versatile kinematics on the market. With two independent motorized combs, one of them mounted on a Z axis with a 60 mm stroke, and a backspindle capable of working with 3 independent axes, the BW209Z allows 3 operations to be carried out simultaneously in a real way.

Simultaneous roughing and finishing turning, simultaneous turning and drilling with synchronism on the Z axis of the comb, motorized operations with both combs even in different Z positions or preparing a tool while another one finishes its job are some of the possibilities of simultaneous work on the main spindle with BW209Z. Added to this is the ability to work with the backspindle on its own tooling system with a built-in Y-axis.

The programming system is based on 3 independent channels, and thanks to the Abile assisted programming software, it is possible to generate a program with almost no knowledge.

Like the rest of the TSUGAMI range, all its CNC components are FANUC and both the spindle, backspindle and guidebush incorporate built-in motors with the consequent reduction in vibration and noise levels and an increase in precision and acceleration.

Working with or without a guidebush is possible in a quick change of less than 15 minutes, even easier thanks to the guidebush with built-in motor.

Pure technology and pure versatility for a highly profitable machine.
