Muratec, manufacturer of twin-spindle lathes with robot loading and turnkey systems, offers the MT 200 series, which is the perfect combination of multifunction turning, combining the power of 2 machines in one to achieve better costs and higher precision.
The Muratec MT series is a step forward for multifunction machines with the possibility of machining bar stock and gantry robot workpiece loader on the same machine. Or both at the same time. The machine is equipped with two spindles of the same power and can combine the option of 1 upper tower and 1 lower tower or 2 upper towers and 1 lower tower. All of them are equipped with a Y-axis.
In its standard mode the machine can incorporate a bar loader for the left spindle, and a workpiece loader/unloader for the machine’s right side.
