Last 4th, 5th and 6th April, Barcelona held the 1st edition of Advance Factories, an exhibition created for gathering the leading technology companies of Industrial Automation equipments, along with the latest solutions of the 4.0 Industry.

Maquinser was Event Partner, and presented the latest innovations in machining centers turning and additive manufacturing. Related to the latter, we introduced the Lumex Avance 25 from Matsuura, 3D hybrid metal printer, and at its stand, HP presented the Multi Jet Fusion, the new machine from HP, intended for manufacturing and prototyping, showing the surprising advantages in production times and cost reduction per part.

We also presented two of latest products from Matsuura and Datron; the Matsuura MX-330, 5 axis machining center and the Datron Neo, the latter was machining parts for the aeronautical industry during the whole event. Both obtained a great response from the professionals who attended the event.

According to the data provided by the exhibition, “The event had a total of 9.745 visitors from 25 countries who have been able to get first-hand knowledge of more than 300 innovations from the 200 expositors, and it has approached the 4.0 Industry to the country and marked a turning point in the arrival of the factories of the future.

The success of the 1st edition of the Advanced Factories is confirmed by the fact that the 30% of the exhibition area for the 2018 edition (March 13th-15th) is already reserved.”
